In Piedmont’s history, there are fewer names more distinctive than Yonahian.
Just 11 miles from the Demorest campus, Mount Yonah’s flat-topped summit is an unmistakable feature on the western horizon. Often referred to as “Piedmont’s Mountain,” Mount Yonah has beckoned generations of adventurous students. Along Yonah’s rocky trails, they have learned that through hard work and perseverance, they can reach heights that once seemed impossible.
In 1920, students named the yearbook the Yonahian. There could be no better name for a publication commemorating their time at Piedmont University, an institution that both challenged them and rewarded them with memories to last a lifetime.
In 2021, Piedmont University formed The Yonahian Society to recognize its most ardent supporters. The Yonahian Society is reserved for individuals who hold an honored place in Piedmont University's philanthropic history by making a gift or commitment of $1,000 or more, annually. Through their generosity, they are leading Piedmont University even higher.
Society members are distinguished by different giving groups:
- President’s Circle $1,000 to $4,999
- Founder’s Circle $5,000 to $9,999
- Chairman’s Circle $10,000 and above
- Lifetime $25,000 cumulative gifts
Be a part of Piedmont's legacy by joining the Yonahian Society at a level that is comfortable to you and your family. You can join the President's Circle for just $83.33 per month.
