Biography
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, Dr. Rettig holds MS and PhD degrees from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), respectively. Before joining Piedmont, Rettig served as associate vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. A Wisconsin native, he is married to Piedmont Artist-in-Residence and Pianist Dr. Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi. Rettig has authored seven highly acclaimed books that focus on education leadership, governance, decision-making and policy analysis.
