Graduation with Honors
Graduation with honors is awarded to undergraduate students who have achieved the following criteria:
- Overall combined cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher
- 48 semester hours at Piedmont University
The Registrar’s Office will award stoles to undergraduate students who achieved graduation with honors. The stoles will be awarded to students the day of graduation at the Registrar’s table.
Note that the overall combined cumulative GPA includes all attempts a student has made to complete all courses, including transfer courses and repeated courses.
Graduate level and above students are not eligible for graduation with honors as the criteria for admission and completion of the programs are on a much higher scale than those set for undergraduate students.
