College of Arts & Sciences

Well-lived lives begin here.

The College of Arts and Sciences is the beating heart of Piedmont University. Home to more than three dozen programs—a count that continues to grow—its mission is to prepare students to become critical thinkers, engaged citizens, and compassionate leaders.

Students may pursue bachelor of science, bachelor of arts, and bachelor of fine arts degrees in the Arts, Humanities, Mass Communications, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Theatre. The College also partners with local and community organizations to provide practicums, internships, and service-learning experiences.

Arts & Sciences faculty provide a range of cultural activities, including plays, musical performances, art shows, and travel study experiences. Piedmont celebrates and encourages self-discovery and service through sharing while providing a rigorous education that prepares students to prosper beyond college.
