Piedmont is a dynamic small university that offers a variety of career-oriented majors in the arts and sciences, business, education, and nursing. With a total enrollment of more than 2,600, the university has a 400-acre home campus in Demorest. Our cosmopolitan Athens campus is designed for commuting students who are seeking to complete their undergraduate education or earn a graduate degree.
The university is governed by the board of trustees, which provides oversight and guidance to the institution’s administrative leaders. With 32 members and 10 trustees emeriti, the board is responsible for reviewing the long-term strategies, operations and performance of the university.
Overseen by the board, Piedmont is led by President Marshall Criser, and five other senior administrators who manage Piedmont’s academic and administrative departments.
