The Roaring Start Grant is a one-time Grant of $500 (split between fall and spring semesters) available to high school students who will be beginning college in the Fall of 2025.

Criteria:

  • The scholarship will be automatically added to the student’s financial aid, and they will receive an email notification of the financial aid offer, including all other state, federal, and institutional aid available to the student.
  • This grant is for first-time freshman students enrolling in Fall 2025.
  • Students must be admitted to Piedmont University by April 1st.
  • Students must have a completed 2025-2026 FAFSA by April 1st.
