Piedmont University to Celebrate Fall Commencement on Dec. 3
Nearly 300 students will graduate from Piedmont University this fall.
“To our graduates, congratulations on your tremendous success, and congratulations to your families, friends, and loved ones who supported you along the journey to your degree. We are so very proud to now call you Piedmont alumni,” said Piedmont President Dr. James F. Mellichamp.
Here is a closer look at the fall 2021 graduating class:
- The class includes 295 graduates.
- Graduates represent states including Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, South Carolina, and Texas.
- Degrees being conferred include the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Business Administration, Education Specialist, and Doctor of Education.
Commencement exercises are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Dec. 3 at the Johnny Mize Athletic Center & Museum on Piedmont’s Demorest campus. Face coverings will be required.
Graduating students who plan to attend are receiving tickets for four guests. Piedmont has increased the number of tickets provided to graduates as pandemic conditions have improved. The ceremony will also be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook.
