Why did you become a professor?
Enjoy the job and the lifestyle. Working with young people helps keep me energized.

What is your background?

Owned and operated radio stations in Georgia and South Carolina for 25 years. I have been a full-time college professor for over 12 years. Married 38 years to Tara and we have two grown daughters and one grand-child.

What are your hobbies outside of school?
Sports fan (particularly the Piedmont Lions, Georgia Bulldogs, and Atlanta Braves) play tennis and golf. I also enjoy gardening and I jog 3 times a week. I have run the Peachtree Road Race over 24 times.
