Students are at the heart of everything we do at Piedmont University. This commitment is reflected in the Learning Center, established to help our students reach their academic goals. One student may endeavor to pass a particularly difficult course. Another may aspire to develop a B into an A. Whatever their objectives, students can find supportive, professional assistance at the Learning Center.
The Learning Center offers academic support in many areas, including accounting, foreign languages, math, science, and writing. Our tutors are approved by faculty, trained in the art of tutoring, and monitored to provide the individualized attention our students need to achieve their personal best.
In addition to working with you on specific subject areas, we can help with test-taking skills, time management, study skills and note-taking skills. You may drop in and work with any tutor who is available or make an appointment with a specific tutor. If you'd like a tutor for a subject you don't see listed, please contact Ineke Dyer at 706 778-8500, ext. 1176.
To schedule an appointment, log into your starfish account and go to My Success Network – Services.
